This organization works on on many fronts so that people with disabilities can achieve their full potential. Present in four states, with specialized clinics. AACD also develops prosthetics and other equipment to improve patients' quality of life.

The association (I Hug Microencephaly) services children and teenagers with microencephaly in the city of Salvador, state of Bahia, promoting social inclusion through multidisciplinary activities. It also offers swimming classes and epilepsy treatment for children affected by the Zika virus. 

Since 1978, the São Vicente de Paulo Home for the Elderly, in Goiânia, has offered meals, medical care, medications, dental care, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and recreation to the senior citizens.

Adote Petz é o programa que a Petz realiza com ONGs de proteção animal em diversas cidades do país, promovendo eventos de adoção nas lojas. A doação será encaminhada a uma dessas ONGs, escolhida por meio de uma enquete pública.

Established in 2003, the association is dedicated to rescue abandoned cats in the Greater São Paulo area. The animals are treated, spayed or neutered and placed in a shelter. Adote um Gatinho promotes them on the web, and anyone interested undergoes an evaluation process until they are qualified for adoption.

Since 2015, Associação Amigos dos Animais de Louveira (Amalo) has sent dogs and cats to adoption. With headquarters in the city of Louveira, state of São Paulo, but also working in Campinas, Campo Limpo, Indaiatuba, Jundiaí, Valinhos, and Vinhedo, currently shelters 150 animals.  

Amigos do Bem works in the states of Alagoas, Ceará and Pernambuco, developing projects in the areas of education, labor, health and infrastructure. It has built homes, cisterns and wells for hundreds of families in the sertão region of northeastern Brazil.

Since 2014 Amor de Bicho has been helping to rescue cats and dogs in Campinas (SP) and region. The NGO rescues and recovers animals, and promotes adoptions fairs. In average, 40 pets are sent to adoption every month. 

The Associação de Pais e Amigos dos Excepcionais de Belo Horizonte provides specialized care for persons with intellectual and multiple impairments. The institution offers services in the areas of physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy and psychology.

Sociedade de Assistência à Velhice Desamparada, better known as Asilo de Vitória, provides housing, meals, nursing care, physiotherapy, and medical care to the elderly in Vitória, Espírito Santo. They also have recreational activities, such as outings and parties.

The Associação Paulista de Auxílio aos Animais is a network of volunteers that rescues abandoned cats and dogs, putting them up for adoption. The Association also cares for cows, horses and donkeys that are rescued by the São Paulo Zoonotic Control Center.

Offering free diagnosis and care for children and teenagers with cancer from the North and Northeast regions, aiming at increasing cure rates. Another objective of the institution is to improve quality of life of patients and their family members.

Providing care for people with kidney disorders, which includes hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, outpatient consultations and follow-up for post-transplant patients. The institution counts on four units in the cities of Blumenau, Itajaí, Rio do Sul, and Timbó, in the state of Santa Catarina.

Associação Saúde Criança promotes the transformation of socially vulnerable families in Rio de Janeiro and offers assistance to 1,500 people a year. The association counts on a multidisciplinary team and acts on five fronts: healthcare, housing, citizenship, income, and education.

Banco de Alimentos (Food Bank) brings quality food that would otherwise be thrown away to people in need. The team visits markets, factories and distribution centers to collect surplus products in good conditions and donates them to social institutes in the greater São Paulo metro.

BrazilFoundation raises resources and engages leaders and social organizations promoting equality, social justice, and opportunity for all Brazilians. Since 2000, more than $70 million BRL have been invested in 600 organizations.

Casa do Amor, founded in 1994 and located in Recife, houses 24 elderly women who live in vulnerable conditions. It also offers nutrition counseling, medical care, physiotherapy and leisure activities, such as movies and lunch at the beach.

Casa do Menino Jesus de Praga, in the city of Porto Alegre, offers shelter to people with disabilities resulting from brain damage. People sheltered were either abandoned or come from low-income families. The shelter has a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, and neurologists, among others.

Since 1973, Casa do Vovô, in Ribeirão Preto (SP) has housed in-need seniors. At the institution, they receive medical care, nutritional advising and psychological services, with a 24-hour nursing team, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, social assistance and recreation.

Casa do Zezinho operates in the Capão Redondo district of São Paulo. Children receive school tutoring, learn music and are taught about ecology. Young people and adults learn English and computer skills and take professional courses.

Founded in 1958, the institution offers full (and free) services to 35 elderly women in Maceió, who are able to rely on nearly two employees each. In addition to housing, meals and basic health care, there are educational, sports and cultural activities.

A group of voluntary bikers that advocate for biking in São Paulo. Founded in 2009, Ciclocidade has over 100 members and has collaborated on important public measures, such as the city's new master plan. The group does research and holds debates and workshops.

The Centro de Recuperação e Educação Nutricional assists children and teenagers from low-income families to overcome malnutrition and obesity. The center offers services, carries out research and offers training. It is located in Jundiaí (SP), Maceió, and São Paulo.

Created in 1986, Criança Esperança is one of the world's largest social projects. It works to advocate for the rights of children and young people, creating development opportunities for them in every region of Brazil. The program is partnered with Globo and Unesco.

Estimação - Sociedade de Proteção aos Animais rescues cats and dogs, shelters them and puts them up for adoption during weekly adoption markets in the city of São Paulo. It also promotes joint efforts to spay and neuter animals whose owners can’t afford to pay for the procedure.

Expedicionários da Saúde takes medical care to indigenous populations and riparian communities that live in isolated areas in the Amazon. Their expeditions include a mobile operating room and a team comprised of physicians, nurses and dentists.

Around 2 thousand pets were already adopted, thanks to Fauna - Francisco de Assis União Protetora de Animais - NGO founded in 2007 in São José do Rio Preto (SP). More than one thousand cats and dogs sheltered in about 100 temporary foster homes.

Since 2010, Focinhos de Luz has rescued abandoned animails, offering them shelter, veterinary care, food and love. After being rescued, they are put up for adoption. The organization operates in Rio de Janeiro, with three adoption fairs each month.

Fundação Abrigo Bom Jesus has taken in Cuiabá's needy elderly population since 1940. Ninety seniors are served by nurses, a nutritionist, a social worker and caretakers. Planned activities include birthday celebrations and tourism outings.

The Cristiano Varella Foundation manages the Muriaé Cancer Hospital (state of Minas Gerais), it is the benchmark in free oncology treatment located in a region that encompasses 260 municipalities. Offering from diagnostic support up to surgery, also acting in prevention.

The Dorina Nowill Foundation for the Blind has been offering specialized services for people with seeing disabilities and their families for free since 1946, including rehabilitation and special education. The foundation is responsible for one of the largest Braille printing presses in the world.  

Founded in 1998, it offers fulltime education activities (sports, arts, occupational education) to socially vulnerable kids and young people in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. The families are also served by Fundação Gol de Letra.

The Garupa site is a crowdfunding platform that promotes tourism projects from small business owners that prioritize local nature, economy and quality of life. Eleven initiatives have been made viable since 2012.

Gastromotiva offers professional training courses in cooking to young people whose family income is less than three monthly minimum wages. They are then sent to the best restaurants in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. This initiative has already trained over 1,000 professionals.

Gerando Falcões is a network of NGOs, located in the outskirts and slums that works by using education, through sports, culture and professional training, enabling people assisted to become true citizens. Operating in 39 slums, with nine units throughout the country.

Hospital specializing in pediatric cancer, in São Paulo. Guarantees patients nationwide the right to a cure with quality of life, within the most advanced scientific standards. 

Working to value culture and intangible assets in the Amazon and in Pernambuco. This is done by strengthening trade, ecotourism and productive development. According to the UN, it is one of the 50 best social interventions in the country.

Since 2013, it has helped more than 2 thousand cats and dogs abandoned in São Paulo city. Approximately 50 animals are rescued per month and the NGO shelters about 200 pets. In addition, the institute also supplies feed for animals in other two shelters.

Offering solutions to the biggest problems in public education in 660 cities. It works in partnership with the government, identifying difficulties, developing educational programs, introducing technologies and training educators.

The Agreste Children’s Cancer Institute, reference in fighting children and youth cancer, offers services such as chemotherapy, orthopedic oncology, radiotherapy, rehabilitation and hospital psychology. Aiming at making more humane treatment available.

Established in 2018 and maintained by Di Gaspi, the El Elyon Institute promotes the education of children and youth in socially vulnerable situations, through supplementary initiatives to formal schooling. The Institute operates in the Vila São José district in the city of São Paulo.

Instituto Eu Sou o Bicho has been working since 2018 in São Paulo metropolitan area, Itapevi, Itupeva, and Sorocaba. Already ensured the adoption of around 500 animals, and helped some thousands through donation of feed, vaccines, and medicines. It has about 40 volunteers.

Instituto Horas da Vida is a network of over 2,500 voluntary healthcare professionals. They offer 35 specialties and free service in their own office for socially vulnerable people in the cities of São Paulo and Curitiba.

Instituto Juvino Barreto has housed needy seniors in Natal since 1944. As a home for 50 seniors, it relies on 50 employees, such as physicians, nurses, nutritionists, psychologists, physiotherapists, an art educator, a social worker and caretakers.

Instituto Mara Gabrilli develops and executes projects geared towards people with disabilities. Supports Paralympic athletes, collaborating in scientific research and helping socially vulnerable populations. It has already benefitted over 3,000 families.

Since 1902, Lar Acolhida São Vicente de Paulo has housed needy seniors in Uberaba (MG). It offers medical care, physiotherapy and leisure activities to the seniors living there. Joy is brought to the day-to-day with social activities, outings and beauty days.

Lar Irmão Velho, founded in 1959 and located in Feira de Santana (BA), serves 50 seniors. The institute offers housing and medical and psychological care. Moreover, it offers community activities and organizes social activities.

Lar dos Velhinhos de Campinas houses 83 seniors, offering medical care and therapy. It has physicians, physiotherapists, dentists, psychologists, nurses, nutritionists and physical educators. It has a reading group, chorus and literacy course.

Offering housing, meals and psychological services, nursing, physiotherapy and social assistants for the elderly of Brasília. Lar dos Velhinhos Maria Madalena was founded in 1980; it has a capacity for 94 seniors and has 120 employees.

Founded in 2017, Associação LatiCão rescues abandoned or abused animals. After neutering, vaccinating and rehabilitating, they are sent to adoption. Works in Campinas and region, and has around 50 volunteers.

Loucos por Bichos (Crazy about Pets) was created in 2005 to help find a home for abandoned cats and dogs. After being rescued from the streets, these pets receive veterinary care; they are spayed or neutered and vaccinated. On weekends, the organization holds adoption events in the city of São Paulo.

Make-A-Wish Brasil has the mission of making the dreams of children and youth with life-threatening diseases come true, aiming at offering them hope and happiness. Established in 2008, the foundation has already made 2,400 dreams come true all over the country.

Nossas works to create articulation in the political initiative networks. The initiative benefited was the campaign Ninguém Fica Pra Trás (Nobody Gets Left Behind). The donations went to five institutions: Casa Miga, Centro de Trabalho Indigenista, Mulheres Mirabal, Casa Tina Martins, and Centro Carmen Bascarán

Serving families at social risk in low-income regions of the city of São Paulo. It carries out social and educational activities, offering education, culture and health, in addition to preparation for the job market. Obra do Berço benefits 4,500 people annually.

Parceiros da Educação promotes partnerships between companies, executives and civil organizations with public schools in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, aimed at improving student performance. It offers educational support and management assistance.

Located in the city of Curitiba, Pequeno Cotolengo Paranaense offers free services to socially vulnerable people with multiple disabilities. The institution offers shelter, healthcare and special education schooling.

The Programa de Apoio, Proteção e Assistência às Crianças e Adolescentes com Myelomeningocoele offers free service to patients with disabilities resulting from spinal defects. It is part of the Pequeno Príncipe Center in the city of Curitiba.

The CEL Project, created in 2003, cares for dogs and cats that have been victims of abandonment and mistreatment in São Paulo. It saves animals and puts them up for adoption at fairs organized every weekend. More than 1,000 animals are adopted each year.

The Projeto Saúde & Alegria (Health & Happiness Project) provides healthcare for river-bank dweller communities at risk in the Amazon, supporting community development and bringing them healthcare, sanitation, savings and environmental programs.

Rede Mulher Empreendedora, created in 2010, is dedicated to helping Brazilian women grow stronger businesses. It is a national NGO with a platform that offers training, mentoring, networking and opportunities to leverage their companies.

Located in Aracaju, SAME - Lar de Idosos Nossa Senhora da Conceição houses 60 seniors. Founded in 1949, it has over 30 volunteers, as well as doctors, a psychologist, a nutritionist, a physiotherapist, a nurse and a social worker.

Providing high complexity services, that is, it serves seniors that require self-care for daily living. Located in Campo Grande and founded in 1976, SIRPHA has professionals in the areas of nutrition, physiotherapy, psychology and music therapy.

Sorri-Bauru works for the healthcare and wellness of persons with disabilities (physical, intellectual, multiple or hearing) in the region of Bauru (SP). Offers a rehabilitation center and an orthopedic workshop, which makes devices such as orthotics, and prosthetics, among others. 

The mission of Todos pela Educação is to contribute so that the country can guarantee all kids and young people a quality basic education by 2022. Since 2006, it has produced knowledge, generated and analyzed indicators and carried out political and institutional articulation.

Promoting all human-powered means of transport, like bikes, skateboards and roller skates. It does research and offers data to public agencies, guiding official actions. Transporte Ativo has already organized 450 pro-mobility actions since 2003.

Established in 2015, in São Paulo, the NGO Tudo por Eles (Everything for Them) rescues abandoned cats and dogs, as well as cats and dogs that were victims of abuse and offers shelter and veterinary care until they are rehabilitated. Holds two adoption events a week.

A network of 17,000 volunteer dentists guarantee full, free and quality treatment to young people and kids with dental problems. They also serve women who have been victims of violence. The program is found in 1,500 cities in Brazil and in more than 13 countries.

For over 100 years, Unibes provides aid for children, teenager, elderly and families in socially vulnerable situations in São Paulo, offering educational support, job training and culture. Benefits over 15,000 people throughout six units.

Vá de Bike is one of the most complete sites in Brazil geared towards biking. It joins tips for bikers, interpretations and discussion of the Traffic Code and news and analysis on actions fostering bike use carried out in the country.

In addition to housing, the institution provides meals, recreational activities, medical care, dental care, physiotherapy and psychological care to everyone served. Vila Vicentina Júlia Freire was created in 1944 and is located in João Pessoa.
